The Kansas City Royals face an eventful offseason highlighted by several major award announcements and key Hot Stove dates throughout November. Shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. is positioned for a third consecutive Gold Glove, alongside nominations for infielders Vinnie Pasquantino, Michael Massey, and Nick Loftin. Witt is also in contention for Silver Slugger and MVP honors, while Jac Caglianone, Carter Jensen, and Michael Wacha are poised for postseason award recognition.
Key offseason events begin immediately following the World Series when eligible players become free agents and trades may resume. Kansas City must navigate qualifying offers, the General Managers Meetings from November 10-12 in Las Vegas, and the contract tender deadline on November 20 for arbitration-eligible players.
