Trout seeks 10th Silver Slugger Award, Neto his first

Louisville Slugger announced the finalists for the 2026 Silver Slugger Awards on Thursday, recognizing the top offensive performers across both leagues. The award winners, voted on by Major League Baseball managers and coaches, will be revealed on November 17. The finalists feature a mix of established award-winners and rising young talent, including American League MVP favorite Yordan Alvarez, Pete Alonso, and National League leaders such as Kyle Schwarber and Shohei Ohtani.

Contenders also include several dual-category finalists such as Jake Bauers, Kevin McGonigle, and Fernando Tatis Jr., who earned nominations at both their primary positions and in utility roles. In addition to individual positional honors, the Astros, Rays, Twins, and White Sox were named finalists for AL Offensive Team of the Year, while the Brewers, Cubs, Dodgers, and Nationals were nominated in the NL.
