Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals was named the overall winner of the 2026 Heart and Hustle Award, beating out nominees including Los Angeles Dodgers recipient Miguel Rojas. Presented by the MLBPAA, the honor makes Witt the first player in Major League Baseball history to win three overall Heart and Hustle Awards since its creation in 2005.
Witt batted .281 with 18 home runs and led the American League with a 7.0 FanGraphs WAR in 2026. The 26-year-old shortstop is also a finalist for his third consecutive Silver Slugger Award this offseason.
