Pat Murphy: ‘Nobody Has A Tougher Job Than Dave Roberts’

Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy praised Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts following the Brewers' sweep in the 2026 National League Championship Series. Murphy stated that nobody has a tougher job than Roberts due to the immense championship-or-bust expectations in Los Angeles. The Brewers advanced to their first World Series since 1982 by overcoming deficits in all four games at Dodger Stadium.

Dodger Blue writer Blake Williams highlighted Roberts' extensive resume despite the NLCS loss, noting his three World Series titles and historic winning percentage. Murphy commended his own resilient squad, remarking that his team of gamers prevailed over the Dodgers' star-studded roster to send a definitive message.
