The Seattle Mariners announced that catcher Cal Raleigh and Josh Naylor underwent surgery on October 3. Raleigh had an acromioclavicular debridement procedure on his left shoulder, while Naylor had repair surgery on his right wrist. Both players are expected to fully recover before the start of spring training.
Both players experienced down seasons offensively and defensively in 2026 following stellar earlier campaigns. Each is under contract through 2030, and the Mariners hope both will return to full health and form for the 2027 season.
