Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy praised the team's fans following their 2026 World Series victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. The Brewers secured the first championship in franchise history with a 4-1 victory in Game 5, finishing the best-of-seven series 4-1.
Murphy highlighted the loyalty of the supporters, noting that preseason projections doubted the team would win their division or reach 85 wins. He also commended his players' unselfishness, as writer Adam Martin notes Murphy became the first manager in Brewers history to win a World Series title.
