The Minnesota Twins' front office should have its eyes on these two players.

Jackson Kruse of Puckett's Pond argues that the Minnesota Twins should target Drew Rasmussen and Tyler Mahle this offseason. Despite missing the postseason, Kruse believes Minnesota should pursue pitching talent based on recent playoff performances. Rasmussen holds a $20 million club option with the Tampa Bay Rays, while free-agent-to-be Mahle previously played for the Twins.
Rasmussen posted a 2.67 ERA during the regular season and delivered eight scoreless innings in the ALDS. Meanwhile, Mahle bounced back after being traded from the Giants to the Atlanta Braves, recording a 1.99 regular-season ERA and two strong playoff starts despite lingering injury concerns.
