Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton is progressing well following September hip surgery and is on track for the 2027 season, while the club has no plans to trade him. General manager Jeremy Zoll confirmed the front office intends to keep the veteran, noting that both sides want to continue their partnership.
Buxton underwent arthroscopic right hip surgery on September 18 after battling injuries throughout 2026. He has two years and $30 million remaining on his contract, with his full no-trade clause converting to a five-team no-trade list.
