Joe Davis' World Series call on Tuesday reminds Twins fans of Kirby Puckett's iconic 1991 home run.

Broadcaster Joe Davis paid homage to an iconic baseball broadcast moment during Game 4 of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers. After Ben Williamson hit a walk-off single in the 12th inning to keep Tampa Bay alive, Davis declared, "We'll see you later tonight!" The phrase directly recalled Jack Buck's famous call from Kirby Puckett's walk-off home run for the Minnesota Twins in Game 6 of the 1991 World Series.
Jack Buck's signature line was previously echoed by his son Joe Buck in several historic postseason moments, including the 2002 World Series, the 2004 ALCS, and the 2011 World Series. Davis, who has served as the lead World Series play-by-play voice since 2022, continued the tradition as Milwaukee holds a 3-1 series lead heading into Game 5.
