MLB Pipeline has announced its picks for the 2026 All-Rookie First and Second Teams, evaluating players based strictly on their 2026 regular season performances rather than future projections. The selections follow a campaign in which 18 of MLB Pipeline's preseason top 25 prospects reached Major League Baseball.
The First Team features notable standouts including Tigers third baseman Kevin McGonigle, who led the American League in bWAR, and White Sox first baseman Munetaka Murakami, who topped all rookies with 35 home runs. Guardians left-hander Parker Messick secured a starting rotation spot after recording a 4.9 WAR and a 2.56 ERA over 186 1/3 innings.
