Sal Licata backed the reported frustration inside the New York Yankees' front office over Aaron Judge. He told listeners it was "good for the New York Yankees" to take issue with their captain.

New York radio host Sal Licata strongly criticized Aaron Judge following reports that Yankees front office executives were annoyed by their captain's comments on team spending. Licata argued on his show that the organization was right to push back publicly against Judge, questioning whether the team's highest-paid player had any ground to complain given New York's payroll exceeding $300 million.
Licata pointed out that the Yankees addressed roster needs by retaining Cody Bellinger after Juan Soto departed. He also contrasted the Yankees with the pennant-winning Milwaukee Brewers, claiming New York carries too many players focused on personal statistics rather than winning games.
