Aaron Judge told ESPN on Wednesday that he intends to return for Game 1 of the AL Wild Card Series at Yankee Stadium next Tuesday. This comes after New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone stated on Tuesday that the club is planning on not having him available for the series, though he has not entirely ruled him out.

The 34-year-old outfielder was placed on the injured list with a right calf strain suffered on September 16 against the Minnesota Twins. Judge confirmed receiving an injection on Monday and is currently awaiting clearance to resume leg activities ahead of the postseason roster announcement.
