The New York Yankees' list of injured players heading into the offseason is headlined by Aaron Judge but also features four pitchers.

The New York Yankees enter the offseason monitoring several injured players following a campaign disrupted by key ailments. Outfielder Aaron Judge is reportedly not expected to need surgery for his fractured rib and should be ready for spring training following rest. Pitcher Clarke Schmidt, who was shut down in September due to right biceps discomfort following Tommy John surgery recovery, is projected to be ready for the start of 2027 barring setbacks.
Relievers Fernando Cruz, Kervin Castro, and Angel Chivilli face more uncertain paths heading into next season. Cruz is attempting to avoid surgery for a partially torn UCL, while Castro hopes to avoid a procedure for elbow neuritis. Chivilli resumed throwing in August after dealing with an elbow bone spur, with his spring availability dependent on winter progress.
