Pinstripe Alley celebrated the birthday of former New York Yankees pitcher Bud Daley, reflecting on his 10-year Major League Baseball career. The left-hander, who played for New York from 1961 to 1964, was an essential bullpen contributor who earned two World Series rings. Daley passed away in October 2024 at the age of 92.
Daley achieved All-Star honors with the Kansas City Athletics before joining the Yankees in 1961. He pitched eight career postseason innings without allowing an earned run, including securing the series-clinching victory in Game 5 of the 1961 World Series.
