The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 on Wednesday night in the middle game of their penultimate regular-season series. Aaron Nola surrendered all four Milwaukee runs, giving up solo home runs to Brice Turang and Christian Yelich, followed by a two-run single to William Contreras. Logan Henderson started on the mound for the Brewers.

Philadelphia struggled offensively, finishing 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position, their worst mark of the season. Their lone run came on an RBI groundout by JT Realmuto in the second inning after loading the bases with no outs. Realmuto's hitless streak extended to a career-worst 26 at-bats, while Philadelphia's playoff magic number remained at two.
