Phillies won’t roster a single trade-deadline addition for Wild Card Series after not including Brooks Raley

The Philadelphia Phillies will not feature any of their trade-deadline acquisitions on their roster for the Wild Card Series against the Atlanta Braves. Reliever Brooks Raley was omitted following a poor run of form, while Luis Arraez and Caleb Kilian were both ruled out due to injuries.

Left-hander Tanner Banks was selected over Raley due to his ability to pitch multiple innings in relief, according to interim manager Don Mattingly. Arraez remains sidelined by an ankle injury, but the club hopes he might return for the National League Division Series if Philadelphia advances.
