San Francisco Giants prospect Dalton Wentz has continued his rapid progression into professional baseball by playing in the Arizona Fall League. Selected in the 16th round of the 2026 MLB Draft out of Wake Forest, the switch-hitter signed late for a $584,955 bonus before quickly debuting with High-A Eugene.
Wentz is now playing for the Scottsdale Scorpions, making him one of only two 2026 draftees active in the Fall League. The assignment provides him with valuable competitive at-bats and an extended six weeks working directly with Giants coaching personnel.
