SF Giants prospect Kaeden Kent has a tough task trying to live up to his dad, but he is making a name for himself in the AFL.
San Francisco Giants infield prospect Kaeden Kent is making a strong impression in the Arizona Fall League. Acquired from the New York Yankees at the trade deadline in the Heliot Ramos deal, Kent has recorded six hits in 14 at-bats, including a walk-off double, two RBIs, and a stolen base.
Kent previously hit two home runs in High-A Eugene before homering in Double-A Richmond during the playoffs. Nick San Miguel notes that while middle infield depth like Gavin Kilen may make advancing difficult, Kent could potentially develop into a solid second baseman or utility player.
