The Brewers are on the verge of winning the World Series. The Mariners should notice how much this has to do with Daniel Vogelbach.

Sodo Mojo's Zachary Rymer argues that the Seattle Mariners should target Milwaukee Brewers assistant hitting coach Daniel Vogelbach to replace Kevin Seitzer. With Milwaukee currently on the verge of winning the World Series, Rymer highlights Vogelbach's influential role in shaping the Brewers' disciplined, low-chase offensive approach during his first season on Pat Murphy's coaching staff.
Rymer points out that Seattle struggled offensively in 2026, finishing third from the bottom in MLB scoring while chasing too many pitches out of the strike zone. Although acknowledging that hiring Vogelbach remains aspirational given his current contract status, the writer notes that becoming Seattle's sole hitting coach would represent a promotion.
