The St. Louis Cardinals made a major change to their coaching staff before the World Series between the Rays and the Brewers.

The St. Louis Cardinals have parted ways with hitting coach Brant Brown, according to a report from The Athletic's Katie Woo. The move comes just ahead of the start of the World Series between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Brown, 55, was initially appointed as the Cardinals' hitting coach during the 2024-25 offseason. Despite his departure, the franchise reportedly expects to retain the majority of its major-league coaching staff heading into next season.
