Ex-American President Barack Obama Dishes Out a Clear Message to Brewers Following World Series Win

Former US President Barack Obama congratulated the Milwaukee Brewers on X after the franchise secured its first World Series title. Milwaukee defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 in Game 5 to claim the series 4-1, concluding a dominant 11-2 postseason run. In the clinching game, pitcher Jacob Misiorowski threw 5.2 scoreless innings, while rookie Cooper Pratt drove in two runs alongside an RBI double from William Contreras.

The championship marks Milwaukee's first title in its 57-year history, overcoming low payroll expectations compared to top spenders like the Los Angeles Dodgers. Political attention also surrounded the series, including prior comments from Donald Trump regarding payroll debates. The Brewers scheduled a championship parade in Milwaukee on October 30, with players also slated to display the Commissioner's Trophy at Lambeau Field during an NFL game.
