The Tampa Bay Rays avoided a World Series sweep with a dramatic 4-3 walk-off comeback win over the Milwaukee Brewers in 12 innings in Game 4 at Tropicana Field. After Milwaukee took a 3-2 lead in the top of the 12th on Cooper Pratt's leadoff homer off Ian Seymour, the Rays rallied with bases-loaded pressure before pinch-hitter Ben Williamson delivered the game-winning single.
Manager Kevin Cash deployed Williamson to hit with the bases loaded after Jonny DeLuca tied the game with an RBI single off Shane Drohan. The victory kept Tampa Bay alive to force Game 5, making the Rays the 17th team in Major League history to pull off a walk-off victory when facing elimination in the World Series.
