The Atlanta Braves and the Texas Rangers have been dancing around a trade for a long time, and if Jacob deGrom or Corey Seager is moved, these prospects should head back Texas.

Writer Jeff Speicher argues that the Texas Rangers and Atlanta Braves should explore trade talks involving stars Corey Seager and Jacob deGrom. The Braves previously sought upgrades at shortstop and rotation help, while the Rangers could look to acquire younger talent to reshape their roster.
Speicher suggests that Texas should target Braves top prospect Eric Hartman in a permanent trade for Seager. Alternatively, a deal sending deGrom to Atlanta for pitching prospect Cam Caminiti is viewed as more financially realistic given contract and no-trade clause hurdles.
