Young pledges to ‘fix’ Rangers issues after disappointing end

Texas Rangers president of baseball operations Chris Young took full responsibility for the team's shortcomings after they finished the season 80-82. Injuries significantly hampered the Rangers throughout the year, with Corey Seager sidelined for 63 days and both Wyatt Langford and Josh Jung missing 55 days each. Young also highlighted the club's struggles on the road, where Texas posted a 35-46 record and dropped nearly every away series following the All-Star break.
