Toronto Blue Jays prospect Jake Bloss delivered an impressive outing in the Arizona Fall League for the Mesa Solar Sox. The 25-year-old right-hander recorded six strikeouts while allowing one earned run and one hit over 2.2 innings on Tuesday night. Across his first three AFL starts, Bloss holds a 2.70 ERA, a 0.75 WHIP, and six strikeouts through 6.2 innings.
Bloss is utilizing the Arizona Fall League to recover and develop after multiple injuries disrupted his past two seasons, including elbow surgery and a teres major injury that cut short his 2026 campaign. Ranked as Toronto's No. 11 prospect by MLB Pipeline, Bloss is working to secure a spot in the Blue Jays' pitching rotation for the 2027 season.
