Max Scherzer Makes Feelings Clear About His Time With Texas Rangers

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Max Scherzer reflected positively on his tenure with the Texas Rangers during a recent series at Globe Life Field. Scherzer spoke with Abby Jones of DLLS Sports about keeping his 2023 World Series ring at home and described the Rangers' postseason run as magical. Although he noted his time with the club was shorter than he would have liked, he expressed fond memories of his tenure.

Scherzer was acquired by Texas from the New York Mets in July 2023 and made 17 regular-season starts across two seasons. He made three starts during the 2023 postseason before departing for Toronto in free agency after the 2024 season. Scherzer did not pitch during the three-game series, which Texas won two games to one.
