There is not a whole lot of baseball going on right now, but there still is one league that is playing. The Arizona Fall League is a great opportunity for prospects to either prove themselves or make up for lost…

Washington Nationals top prospect Jarlin Susana reflected on his Arizona Fall League performance and road back from injury in an interview with Federal Baseball. Susana set the AFL velocity record by throwing the nine fastest pitches in league history while earning AFL Pitcher of the Week and All-Star honors. He noted his primary goal remains making his Major League debut next season.
Susana credited the success of his curveball to how well it tunnels with his triple-digit fastball. After missing months due to a triceps injury, he maintains consistent contact with Washington's front office as he continues working toward a big-league call-up.
