So far this offseason, we have talked about some of the bigger names on the free agent market. That includes the likes of Michael King, Adrian Morejon and Brandon Lowe. Today I want to discuss some under the radar targets…

Sam Sallick of Federal Baseball identifies David Peterson, Kris Bubic, and Kyle Hart as three under-the-radar free agent pitchers who could provide high value for the Washington Nationals. Sallick argues that while each left-handed pitcher carries specific risks, all three have the upside to outperform their potential contracts in the upcoming offseason.
Sallick suggests Peterson could command a three-year, $33 million contract following a strong second half with the Chicago Cubs. He views Bubic as a high-upside starter on a short-term deal despite injury concerns, while Hart represents an affordable bullpen option with strong underlying metrics if the San Diego Padres decline his club option.
