In its major league debut, the Automated Ball-Strike (ABS) Challenge System has been a huge success. Here's how it will work in the playoffs.

Major League Baseball's Automatic Ball-Strike (ABS) challenge system enters its first postseason after being implemented at the major league level. The system allows teams to contest ball and strike calls during playoff games, following what has been viewed as a successful regular season rollout.
Several teams and players have adapted to the system throughout the season, including New York Yankees catcher Austin Wells, who posted a 63% success rate on challenges. Meanwhile, teams such as the Houston Astros finished lower in ranking, placing 20th in challenge success.
