Getting swept at home had the Yankees devastated in the clubhouse.

Manager Aaron Boone described a broken New York Yankees clubhouse following a 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3 of the ALDS on Wednesday night. The defeat at Yankee Stadium completed a postseason sweep by the Rays, abruptly ending the Yankees' season.
Boone made controversial lineup adjustments, benching impending free agent Jazz Chisholm Jr. and starting Trent Grisham in the leadoff spot. Grisham struck out for the final out with Chisholm stranded on second base, leaving general manager Brian Cashman with significant offseason roster decisions.
