Chael Sonnen doesn’t believe fans shouldn’t pass judgment on Josh Hokit despite his over-the-top personality and antics.

Former UFC contender Chael Sonnen has warned fans and critics not to judge heavyweight Josh Hokit too quickly despite his controversial antics. Speaking to MMAJunkie's Mike Bohn, Sonnen explained that Hokit is still developing his story and persona, urging audiences to give him about another year before evaluating him.
Hokit has risen through the division following notable performances against Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis, while also drawing backlash for provocative public comments. He is scheduled to challenge Ciryl Gane for the UFC Heavyweight Championship at UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden on November 12.
