Khabib Nurmagomedov sparks comeback rumors by ‘accidentally meeting’ UFC boss Hunter Campbell

Khabib Nurmagomedov has fueled speculation about a potential return after posting a photo on social media alongside UFC Chief Business Officer Hunter Campbell. The retired lightweight champion shared the image to his Instagram Story, captioning it as an "accidentally meeting." The post quickly generated excitement among mixed martial arts fans on social media, despite Nurmagomedov repeatedly stating that he will never compete in an MMA bout again.

Bloody Elbow reports the encounter was likely centered around Khabib's cousin, Usman Nurmagomedov, rather than an active fighting comeback. Usman is a prominent free agent following the conclusion of his PFL contract. UFC CEO Dana White stated after UFC 333 that the promotion will initiate discussions with Usman once his contractual negotiation window with PFL permits.
