UFC fighter Khamzat Chimaev has shared his analysis of the upcoming lightweight co-main event between Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy. Chimaev believes there is a significant gap in grappling skills between the two fighters, favoring Tsarukyan's wrestling over Ruffy's striking. Following a wrestling rematch against Gilbert Burns in Florida, Chimaev plans to travel to Los Angeles to join streamer N3on in Tsarukyan's corner.
While Chimaev praised Ruffy as one of the best strikers in the UFC, he doubts the Brazilian can handle Tsarukyan's complete skillset. Conversely, Ruffy's former opponent Michael Chandler predicted that Ruffy could catch Tsarukyan with big shots, noting that Ruffy is better than many people realize.
