Kyle Nelson is looking to get back on track as he will face Cristian Perez at UFC Edmonton on Saturday night.

Kyle Nelson has stated he is confident heading into his UFC Edmonton bout against newcomer Cristian Perez, explaining that he is not concerned about his opponent's grappling. Nelson, who recently signed a new four-fight contract with the promotion, accepted the match on roughly five weeks' notice after seeking a return on a Canadian card following a knockout loss in March.
Nelson believes his offensive and defensive wrestling skills surpass those of Perez, who enters the fight with a 15-2 record. Additionally, Nelson expects potential octagon jitters and the Canadian crowd to work against Perez, while expressing optimism about getting back on track toward a top-15 ranking.
