Undefeated welterweight prospect Jacobe Smith has stepped in on short notice to face Randy Brown at UFC Vegas 123. The co-main event bout is scheduled to take place on October 31 in Las Vegas, saving the matchup after Brown's original opponent withdrew.
Smith accepted the fight on less than two weeks' notice following a victory against Bruce Whitehead earlier in the month. Brown was left without a dance partner after Carlos Leal was forced to pull out due to an injury.
