Former Bellator and UFC fighter Michael "Venom" Page has signed a multi-year deal with Misfits Sports. Page announced his new signing in the ring at a Misfits Boxing event on Saturday after the UFC chose not to re-sign him. He completed his UFC contract at UFC Paris in September with a unanimous decision victory over Nursulton Ruziboev.
According to a report by Ariel Helwani, the agreement is exclusive but permits Page to compete in wrestling and grappling competitions. Although Misfits primarily promotes boxing, the organization has featured mixed martial arts bouts in the past. An official debut date for Page has not yet been announced.
