Michael Morales and Shavkat Rakhmonov might not be out of action for much longer. The top welterweight contenders have both dealt with inactivity, with Morales still waiting for his first booking since a win over Sean Brady in November 2025…
Undefeated UFC welterweight contender Shavkat Rakhmonov has hinted at a potential clash against fellow unbeaten fighter Michael Morales. After Morales called out several fighters including Rakhmonov, Rakhmonov suggested interest on TikTok in putting his 19-0 record on the line against Morales, who also holds a 19-0 record.
Both contenders have faced recent inactivity in the division. Rakhmonov has been sidelined since December 2024 due to persistent knee injuries following a win over Ian Machado Garry. Morales has not competed since defeating Sean Brady in November 2025, which capped a run of three straight first-round knockouts.
