Women's strawweight fighter Valesca Machado addressed reporters ahead of her appearance in The Ultimate Fighter 34 finale at UFC Vegas 121. During the media day, Machado explained that her "Tina Black" persona represents her fighting mindset inside the octagon, contrasting it with her regular personality outside of competition.
Machado, a former Invicta FC champion with a 15-4 (1 NC) record, noted that she intentionally sat out in 2025 following three victories in 2024. She explained that the layoff was a deliberate choice while waiting for an opportunity to join the UFC.
