Bonfim entered the lightweight bout significantly overweight, missing the limit by 7.5 pounds at 163.5 pounds. Despite the size discrepancy, Prado successfully finished the fight with punches in round one and subsequently expressed interest in facing lightweight competitor Drew Dober next.
