Arman Tsarukyan and Mauricio Ruffy had to be separated by security during their final faceoff at the UFC 331 ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday night in Los Angeles. The altercation began when Tsarukyan stepped inside Ruffy's fist during a pose, prompting Ruffy to push him back. The two lightweight fighters are scheduled to compete in a five-round co-main event on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the main event fighters, Joshua Van and Alexander Pantoja, kept their composure during their final faceoff despite feuding throughout the week. Van and Pantoja are set to compete in a flyweight title rematch, following their previous meeting in December.
