Joe Gibbs Racing wants to prove that Chris Gabehart gave Spire proprietary data

A magistrate judge overseeing discovery disputes has issued rulings in the ongoing legal battle between Joe Gibbs Racing, Spire Motorsports, and Chris Gabehart. Following a lengthy hearing on unresolved matters, the court directed both racing teams to produce their 2025 and 2026 setups as part of the lawsuit and countersuit proceedings.
The ruling marks the latest development in a months-long legal dispute between the two NASCAR organizations. Spire Motorsports co-owner Jeff Dickerson had previously questioned the lack of evidence in Joe Gibbs Racing's claims as both organizations continue their courtroom fight.
