Amid a rocky start in the Rocky Mountains, the three-time MVP once again took disgruntled Denver fans to task.
Nikola Jokić doubled down on his criticism of Denver Nuggets supporters, reiterating that home fans who boo the team are not real fans. The comments followed Denver falling to a 1-2 record after a 134-114 home defeat against the Golden State Warriors at Ball Arena.
Jokić had previously expressed frustration after the Nuggets were booed during an opening home game against the New Orleans Pelicans, stating that booing fans did not need to attend. In Monday's loss, head coach David Adelman pulled his starters late in the fourth quarter after Denver fell behind by 21 points.
