The fantasy basketball crew identifies one player they feel differently about than seemingly everyone else.

ESPN fantasy basketball analysts shared their bold individual predictions and differing player evaluations ahead of the upcoming NBA season. Michael F. Florio advocated drafting Fred VanVleet outside the top 100, while Steve Alexander highlighted Kyrie Irving as a high-value point guard target. André Snellings projected a career-best year for LaMelo Ball with Minnesota, and Eric Moody predicted Darius Garland could finish in the top 30 fantasy options for the Los Angeles Clippers.
Conversely, Eric Karabell advised avoiding Jaren Jackson Jr., arguing his role in Utah could decline outside the top 100 fantasy options. Jim McCormick suggested drafting Brandon Miller well ahead of his average draft position, predicting significant offensive growth following Ball's departure from Charlotte.
