Hawks secret weapon provided underrated impact in preseason opener

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Wilson delivered an impactful bench performance during the team's preseason opener against the Memphis Grizzlies. Entering late in the third quarter, Wilson scored 12 points across 15 minutes of action, hitting back-to-back three-pointers and converting an and-one play off a pass from RayJ Dennis.

Writer Antwane Willis highlights Wilson, who is signed to a two-way contract, as a potential hidden gem for Atlanta. With upcoming preseason games against the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder, Willis argues that Wilson could earn regular-season opportunities through strong performances.
