Writer Kyle Pring suggests that Hugo Gonzalez could help the Boston Celtics validate their controversial offseason choice to hold onto young assets rather than acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo. Boston reportedly halted their pursuit of Antetokounmpo by refusing to include Gonzalez in an offer to the Milwaukee Bucks, allowing the star to be dealt to the Miami Heat instead.
