"I never demanded a trade. I never made a list of ultimatums."

Jaylen Brown strongly denied reports that he demanded a trade or gave ultimatums prior to leaving the Boston Celtics. The Philadelphia 76ers guard directly addressed allegations made by NBC Sports Boston broadcaster Brian Scalabrine, calling the claims false and stating he wants to focus on his new chapter in Philadelphia.
The Boston Celtics traded Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Paul George and two first-round draft picks. Scalabrine previously claimed Brown made a list of demands, though he later walked back the comments by admitting he did not know the specifics and acknowledging Brown technically did not request a trade.
