Former Nets Guard Retires Aged 31

Former Brooklyn Nets guard Isaiah Whitehead has announced his retirement from professional basketball at the age of 31. Whitehead shared the decision on social media platform X, concluding a 10-year professional journey that began when he was selected in the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft.

Whitehead played 89 career regular-season games for the Nets, becoming the first Brooklyn-born player to play for the franchise. After leaving the NBA, he played overseas across Europe and the Middle East, ending his career with Israeli club Ironi Nes Ziona.
