Boston Celtics guard Derrick White saw his shooting go from bad to worse last season. He has a handle on why.

Boston Celtics guard Derrick White is aiming for a bounce-back season following a difficult shooting slump last year. Speaking with SI.com's Jon Karalis, White explained that a slow start affected his confidence, leading him to unnecessarily tweak his mechanics as his struggles snowballed into the postseason.
White shot 39.4% from the field and 31.7% from three-point range last season, followed by 32.1% shooting in the playoffs. Sean Deveney notes the Celtics will need improved production from White, especially alongside Jayson Tatum and newcomer Paul George following Jaylen Brown's departure.
