The Charlotte Hornets announced plans to retire former point guard Muggsy Bogues' No. 1 jersey on February 11. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at halftime during a home matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks at Spectrum Center.
Bogues, who stands as the shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3, spent nearly a decade in Charlotte after joining the team in the 1988 expansion draft. He becomes the third player in franchise history to receive the honor, joining Dell Curry and Bobby Phills.
