The Charlotte Hornets announced Saturday that they have waived guards Jarkel Joiner and Latrell Wrightsell. The moves bring Charlotte's roster within the regular-season limit ahead of Monday's deadline, leaving the team with 15 guaranteed standard contracts and three two-way deals.
Both players were signed to Exhibit 10 contracts and are expected to join the Hornets' G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm. Joiner played in four preseason games, while Wrightsell did not feature after finalizing his deal earlier in the week.
